Happy Birthday Yassine

We celebrated the birthday of our friend Yassine. We prepared a card for him, sang, danced, played and ate cake :) We had lots of fun. Happy Birthday Yassine :)

Creative Hands

Hand Magnets




We dipped our hands in paint and printed it on a piece of construction paper. Our teacher cut around the outside of the handprint ,and put a piece of sticky-backed magnet on the back of each hand. We took our handprints home to put them on the refrigerator.

Hand Print Tree




After painting the tree branches, we printed our hands using autumn leaves' colors. We created our own autumn tree with our hands instead of the leaves.

Parent- Teacher Meeting

Parental involvement is the most important factor for students' success in school. For this reason, our school held an open house, families visited classrooms, met teachers and saw examples of their children's work. Each teacher gave a presentation regarding the activities, procedures, school virtues, and academics that will be taught in classrooms this school year.
We discussed basic learning goals and plans of kindergarten and the strategies to clarify and achieve them. We also shared ideas of how children learn by exploration and discovery through making choices and exploring ideas and feelings and how to prepare them for reading and writing. We do share responsibility for creating a working relationship that fosters learning for education and socialization of children.

After looking at the mirror in our class and describing our features and feelings, we drew ourselves, traced our names and talked about our drawings to each other. Don't we look like young artists!

Paper Doll Friends

We colored paper dolls, then we introduced the dolls to each other and they became friends.After that we made a circle of friends that will always surround our KG1 class.
