After washing our hands, our teacher placed unpopped corn in a bowl and passed it around so that we selected two or three kernels each. We looked at, touched and smelled the kernels.
After that we went to the kitchen, we heard the popping sounds of the corn, made the sounds with our mouths until we had a “popcorn chorus”. We also smelled the popcorn and tasted it. It was delicious!

the smell of popcorn popping made my students' mouth water for a tasty handful and wish they could have been there to taste this yummy treat...
